What you need to know

In this fourth and final part, you’ll be adding another three textured squares into the equation: Elizabeth stitch, crunch stitch, and ridged double. As before, each type comes in both knit and crochet options, so you’re truly spoilt for choice! As well as completing your squares, you’ll of course be guided on how to sew up the blanket, including piecing the squares together and adding a border. We can’t wait to see your finished throws, so be sure to share your snaps with us on our private Facebook group!

All squares: 20cm x 20cm
12-square blanket: 66cm x 86cm
24 square blanket: 86cm x 126cm

What you'll need


DK yarn: 24 assorted shades in your chosen colours
Knitting needles: 4mm
Crochet hook: 4mm
Tapestry needle

Nicola Valiji is a long-standing Let's Knit Together designer who first discovered her love of knitting while making a Jean Greenhowe doll with her nan. Joining her on this project is Zoë Potrac, an accomplished crochet designer whose innovative garment and homeware patterns have appeared in leading crochet publications across the UK.
